Introducing Willie to the Pug pack

Willie is 16 months old and came from Costa Rica.

He’s a big boy and we need to get 5-6 pounds off of him.

Just got him home yesterday afternoon and he’s a little skittish.

He's as adorable at the other two. I hope they all get along well.

They are getting along great so far. Pugs are pretty chill in general.

Vet appointment update:

23.5 lbs = needs to lose 2.5 lbs/Metabolic food.

Nose has infection on the outside = medicated wipes x3 times a day.

Left eye injury = steroid drops

He’s in good hands and we will take great care of him.

Blood work results came back with Willie is healthy and no complications.

His eyes and nose are all doing better already.

Happy healing boy.

Why the harness?

Why the harness?

A couple of reasons.

Pugs are strong dogs and we found that they pull too hard on the leash and choke with a collar.

Another advantage is that the harness has a handle on it and it makes it easier to pick them up.
