Veterans Day Concert

Post by Shakey Jake » Fri Nov 10, 2023 11:14 am

One of my clients got a position with the Air Force Band and performed a solo piece with them Wednesday evening. Her father, Chris, took a video of the performance and I'm posting it here if you are interested to listen. It's about a 13-minute piece. I'm really proud of her. She's a real cutie too!

I once went to a Veterans Day concert. It was a little different though. Joe Walsh organized it, and had Chris Stapleton, James Taylor, Don Henley and Ringo Starr along. Best $35 I’ve ever spent! (JT was a bit of a snooze though🤣)

I'm sure they played other more traditional music such as Sousa marches. I've known her for a while and am really am proud of her . I sorta like James Taylor in a weird way

Don’t get me wrong, I totally respect James and his music. It was just a huge slow down compared to the rest. I didn’t know anything about Chris Stapleton before the show, but man, that guy tears it up on stage!
