UPDATE ...... after just over 8 months of pretty heavy use, the sandals featured in the link above are, without any doubt, the best I've ever own .... no modifications have been necessary and absolutely no pain associated with Plantar fasciitis .... I do plan to take them to a shoe shop to have one strip of Velcro replaced on each of them .... if you click on the link above you will find that Amazon only has 1 pair left in stock and it is a size 5 .... there no indication if they will be restocking them or not .... they do have other brands that appear to be of similar construction .... that being said, I'm sure am glad I ordered a second pair ....

second attempt to deliver my sandals to a show repair facility ..... a massive traffic backup caused me to give up on doing so a few days ago .... hopefully with it being Saturday morning, that won't be an issue again

My wife has planter fasciitis.

She’s gone through multiple insoles and seems to have some she likes from the podiatrist (we couldn’t swallow the prices at “The Good Feet Store”. Recently she ordered some little ball from Amazon that seems to help a lot. It was this one;

The way they started, I felt like we were buying a car. Then I understood why. Once we heard the price, we said “Thanks, but no thanks” and left.

I don't have planter fasciitis but do have a very messed up left foot from a motorcycle accident. Over the years I have had multiple custom orthotics but a few years ago tried a pair from Powerstep and found I liked them better than my custom made ones. I also have Metatarsalgia so use the insoles with a Metatarsal pad. They're not cheap but are inexpensive enough to have a set for multiple shoes.

UPDATE ---- I received a pair of Sketcher's "Arch Fit" slip-on shoes for Christmas .... I've now worn them for several days and must say, I'm impressed .... their shoe's arch/heel support area feels considerably different than what I'm used to .... bottom line, their design is working well for me .... its nice to take a pair of shoes out of a box and not have to add any sort of arch/heel supports
