First frost

Post by bandit1250 » Mon Oct 23, 2023 7:50 am

This morning we had the first frost on the grass and garage and porch roof. Temp was 33* over night but dropped to 29* after it started to break daylight. Always seems to lose a few degrees in our location as it starts to get light. This week the temps will be in the 70's and hit the 80's by next weekend. Good days to get our vehicles cleaned up and a good coat of polish on them. This will probably be the last week for having temps that high for a while. I am hoping we can have temps even in the 60's Nov.5 for the Stock/Super Stock drag races so it will not be too cold to enjoy the day.

Our first frost was several weeks ago. Firsts snow will be this next weekend and the low will be in the teens and highs not above freezing.

Too early for me, we may see frost next week. Time for one last mowing and time to clean up the equipment and call it a day.

For the most part yes. It’s not pretty as weeds came up but the weeds will stop the erosion. Next spring and summer I hope to make big improvements on the berm.

Good morning, well we got a slight one Monday, but the past two have been pretty good ones. Got to 24° yesterday morn, and 26° this AM.
Not sure if you can tell...

Only thing better than a November outdoor picture is the same with a rifle in it. Yep, it looks pretty frosty at your place.
