Haircuts are getting expensive: Ruger American

Post by Sir Henry » Mon Oct 09, 2023 11:14 am

I have an appointment for a haircut today. The problem is two doors away is Mainstreet Guns and Knives. Last haircut I ended up by a single-shot Winchester. A Ruger American caught my eye this time. I need another rimfire rifle like another hole in the head.

But it’s a beautiful wood stock stainless steel one that appears to only have been shot a handful of times. Please I need enablers here to tell me I should go back and buy it. They were asking $499 but always give 10% off at least. Sometimes up to 25%.

Go get it after your haircut. I hope to see photographs soon.

Nice choice of location for your barber.

Maybe invest in a pair of scissors and a mirror instead.

When it comes to buying another gun NEED has never entered into my decision. WANT is the key here. As far as haircuts go I bought my wife a real nice pair of clippers off Amazon. She watched a YOUtube video on haircuts and has now cut mine for the last year. She is getting real good at it. Ive already paid for the price of the clippers in savings. Now lets see some pictures of the new rifle Gene

When I went back and asked for a better price the owner said it was mispriced and should have been $549. Full list is $552 so I declined. It was a new TALO 8359.

So skip the haircut; save THAT money and buy the gun. Matter of fact, quit getting haircuts and It'll pay for itself in time!

I usually don’t pay full list. I don’t want one that bad.
