Our new daughter

Post by Centaur » Sun Oct 01, 2023 8:24 am

Our 10 year old beagle died this summer during our camping trip in Alaska. We are really dog people, and it didn’t take long for us to have to have another canine in the house. So, here is the appropriately named Layla; Clapton had two versions of his song; one electric and very lively, the other acoustic and laid back. This little gal is frenetic one moment and easy going the next. It’s been a while since we’ve had a puppy, and she keeps us on our toes for sure. On the whole, she’s a real sweetheart, except maybe when she’s running off with my socks.

congrats... tag along company.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

well understood .... Beagles are one of my favorite dog breeds ..... yours looks like a classic ..... its my understanding that there are two Beagle varieties: those standing under 13 inches at the shoulder, and those between 13 and 15 inches .... any idea which size yours will grow to become .. :?:

She is the smaller version, but if we give in to her appetite, she may be the first 100 pound beagle. She is a real chow hound.
