An early whiskey and water is toasted to all good members here.
It turned out to be a very nice evening, a bit cool, but out on the deck with a drink anyhow.

Cheers Dave, I just finished mowing so I grabbed a cold one and walked out to the picnic table.
It's been a warm one here today, it got up.to 94°. I'm done for the day.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Our last BLT with fresh garden ripe tomatoes of the season along with a Shiner's.
Oh well, now it's squash season and I like that too.
A couple of martinis and I'm ready for bed.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
It was a friend's birthday so the six of us from the Gun club beer and wings group went to a
fancier place for BBQ ribs and drinks.
https://horseandhunt.com
It was really good and the slabs of ribs were huge.
I had a nice martini and then a young man was selling chocolate for his ball club so I purchased
two bars for each of us for desert.
Home now and soon to hit my recliner.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
I had a good day cutting brush around the home site and I hauled five trailer loads out to the burn pile.
The pile is getting very tall and next Winter we can all dance naked in the snow as we burn it.
(Yeah, right).
I started to sip a Miller High Life as I grilled some beer brats to go along with the fresh corn on the cob and tomato.
(Burp)!
Now I plan to hit the old recliner and finish it off in time for a martini.
Life ain't all bad.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Hooray! We sold the old RV today. Then we went to our favorite supper club a they were having
Oktoberfest! Met some friends of ours and we all had a couple of steins of beer and listened to
polka music. Cheers.
Now we're grilling burger's and corn and sliced tomatoes, (and more beer).
It's been a good day.
Martini later.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Randy, I like you choice of beers. Although I don't drink much beer any more, Yeungling is the only one I will drink and their B&T are great.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Would you believed that we can't even special order Yuengling here. That sounds absurd, but we're tried.
Well, I guess I'll make do with a old Texas made beer instead. (Shiner).
Carol has a pork roast in the oven and it smell divine. She is also serving corn on the cob and rutabagas.
I just watched NASCAR and then closed up the barn and such, and now I'm settling in for a pleasant
evening.
Martini later.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Had a VFW meeting last night but while I was gone Carol was doing some research on Puff Ball Mushrooms.
I found this one mowing yesterday and she told me she and her friends used to cook and eat them, so, we
picked it and now she's exploring options for it. Cooking, freezing, drying, ect.
I enjoyed a martini while she explained all this to me.
