Local gun shop moved to new digs

Post by GunnyGene » Wed Sep 13, 2023 9:31 am

Still in the same town of Caledonia, MS, just a few doors down from the old shop, but a much larger space. Veteran Arms and Knife. I patronize them occasionally, and they are great to deal with, and are well stocked. Check the link for pics, etc.

Anyway the new building is a vacated church they overhauled. They kept the same name but I thought they should change it to "Holy Crap Gun Shop", or something similar. That probably would have meant that patrons would have to cross themselves when entering tho. ;)

That is pretty cool location, I am glad to see the steel bars. But did he also replace the old church doors? You could drive a truck through them otherwise.

I don't know if he replaced the doors, but they are pretty sturdy and you'd have navigate a serious set of steps. The very small town itself is off the beaten track by several miles of country roads also. I'm sure he has adequate security systems, but nothing is totally impregnable.

It is. Not in the "big box" style, but in the rural country store style. Cedar plank flooring, etc. And it's actually got walking around room, which is a big improvement over the old one. You had to be careful not to trip over crates of ammo and guns. :)
