Which Guns do you shoot most

Since I mostly shot 45 and 38 in competition, that's what I usually shoot, and those are my EDC calibers. (Well, 45 and 357) But I'll shoot around the interior of the safe, but always come back to the EDC. SIG P220 and the Smith 340. I also like to shoot the Model 64 because it shoots so well.

I have a set of dies and bullet molds for every centeriire gun I own. I have powder/primers and over a ton of WW's to make bullets. I shoot any and everything I own. With total disreguard to ammo availablilty or cost.

Except for deer rifles thru the years, mines always been .22 and 12 gauge shotgun. Now it's still .22 but 410 took the place of 12 gauge. Only had .22 rifles most of life but last few years added some .22 handguns. Maybe I should have kept it simple and just said .22 and 410.

Havent been shooting a lot the past few years.
When we had lockdowns with covid I loaded just about all the brass I had, dont think I have loaded since,
Still working my way through the 3-5k of 38 357 & 9mm I loaded. I have run out of 32swl but only had around 500 loaded for it. Probably been a fairly even split between them 22 and air over the past 3 or so years in handguns.
Have a rifle with me most days around the farm similar story with loading during covid, have 2-500 for most of them. I try to rotate through them swapping what I have with me every few weeks. Probably shot more 222 than anything else simply because it is the rifle that gets used for culling the most.

My shooting runs in streaks but lately the lighter calibers are getting the most use. The Henry Homesteader picked up a few months ago has about 500 rounds through it and I enjoy the heck out of shooting the 50 yard plate rack with it. Also the HO15 carbine in .357 and the .357 single shots and revolvers seem to be going to range much more often than the big boomers. Might have to change my handle!

I think you and I are about the only people on here that shoot the Henry Single shots much. I still like the levers but I do really enjoy the SS Henrys. They are simple easy to clean lightweight for old guys like me and just fun to shoot. Ive thought many times about getting one in 223 but have just never pulled the trigger on one.My Neighbor and his son are into guns somewhat and he shot mine in 357. He ended up buying his son one for Christmas in 44 mag.

I don't shoot as much as I used to. I have used my Henry Garden gun a lot lately. I enjoy shooting my .22 rifles. I edc .38/.357. I shoot them to stay proficient. In shotgun I have gone from 20 ga to mostly .410. So that's what I shoot the most.

I really like the SS's, especially so after the trigger upgrade. I ended up with 4 of them and if they chambered them in .41 Magnum there'd be one more in the safe. The .223 is really a good shooter for that type of gun and mine is going to Montana next June on a prairie dog trip. It never fails when you're focused on 300+ yard shots with a big heavy barreled varmint rifle and you look to the side and there's a big beast sitting on his mound at 75 yards mocking and scoffing. I shoot from a solid bench and it's as if they know what a pain it is to move the rest and bags for one shot so...I'll have the .223 Henry with a Harris bipod and 2X-7X Leupold ready to go. Anything within 250 yards would be in deep trouble.

So...I'd bet you would enjoy a .223.

About half way between Broadus and Miles City. I'm just a geriatric tag along now. For many years I shot dogs around White River SD but the lady that owned the ranch passed on.

Geriatric tag along sounds like a polite term for pita. At least thats how it would be for the crowd here. Been trying to get a close friend fired up to go do some of that but hes got to many irons in the fire.

Mainly 22 just cause it costs to much to shoot huge amounts of larger centerfire deer caliber bullets...

Looks like you were having fun. Im guessing from that pic that you were in Montana. Thats what the country looks like out east side of Montana anyway. Spent a weekend up in Spotted Horse Wyoming country shooting dogs with a Ruger 77 220 Swift. Remember it well.

I lived in Northern Virginia for almost twenty years and shot hundreds of chucks with my Ruger M77V 220 Swift. A great rifle and
a great round. My buddies and I hand loaded all of our ammo in those days. They were good days.

When I bought my first ever firearm in 2014 (a Henry H001), I was blindsided by the fact that there wasn't any ammo available for it. The president had recently been reelected and the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary happened soon after. The frenzied rush to buy ammo after both of those events was astonishing. As a result, I began to buy every round of 22LR that I could find and I kept it up for a couple of years. Now, I've got more than ten thousand rounds of the stuff and, given my age, I won't likely ever shoot it all. Average purchase price was seven cents each.

I bought a Henry 38/357 BBB in 2015, along with all the equipment needed to reload for it. I've currently got enough components to build about five thousand .357 JHP/JSP rounds at a cost of between 16 and 22 cents each, depending on the powder I select. Again, I'll probably never shoot all of it. As an aside, I like reloading almost as much as shooting.

My next trip to the range will be with the H001 and it's companion Uberti SAA revolver. Talk about fun!

Yes sir Coop Ruger Model 77V It shot those Sierra 52 and 53 grain match bullets lights out with some IMR 4064 for booster fuel. About 3800FPS and when those hit a dog it was doggone
