UPDATE ....

our 160 qt Yeti Cooler shown throughout this thread is still very much in use .... as this is being typed we are in Grain Valley, MO on our way back home from South Dakota it is secured on the back of our Sportchassis .... we topped off the ice in it yesterday afternoon ..... the highest temp we've seen today has been 103 degrees, right now its down to 97 .... 24+ hours later we checked it and no ice needs to be added .... it is in the direct sun and is sitting on an aluminum floor that is too hot to touch for long .... fully understanding the conditions, it is still an exceptional cooler

I joined the NRA as a young Marine to shoot in their sponsored matches and to support their teaching programs and hunting programs. I kept renewing my annual membership until I could afford to pay for a lifetime membership. When I left the Corps and became a firearms instructor I attended NRA certification courses for LE Instructors and found them to be extremely well managed and taught by some of the best in the business. The do have political causes, but so do nearly every other organization out there... Doctors, lawyers, Dentists, Realtors, etc. They all lobby to support their causes.

We have YETI coffee and travel mugs that are YEARS old and they still function well, and we have given them for Christmas and Birthday gifts to the kids. I hadn't intended to buy anything YETI in the immediate future, but if this turns out to be true, I'll refrain from future purchases... supporting the NRA who supported the Military and the LE instructor programs that saved lives.

Someone said that they don't believe boycotts have any effect on businesses or products. Perhaps you might ask Bud Light, or Target. Target was Really Quick to pull the LGBTQ+ products from their stores after that drop in business ... or maybe Woke Disney... I don't think they have had a good year... Go Woke Go Broke has become a fact not just a Meme. I am NOT calling for a boycott, just responding to the statement in the earlier post. Everyone here is an adult and can follow their own lead.

;)
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I'm out on Yeti. I do not support companies that use my hard earned money to oppose the Constitution of the United States.

The 2nd Amendment is important, it secures the entire Bill of Rights.

Like I've said in the past, let's see how many bird seed eating bicycle riders buy those products.

JEBar- you could always just remove the Yeti logo.

One of my clients is quite senior with Coleman, and we discussed coolers for quite a while one day. He agreed Yeti made a great cooler, but gave me some tips that every rotomolded cooler is virtually the same as Yeti. What Yeti really excels at is marketing. They are more than double the cost of comparable coolers and yet they still sell.

It’s a mixed up world out there, and we need to support people who aren’t afraid to do their own thing.
