It was a good day of shooting and spent the afternoon relaxing in my camp. Jerky for supper though, too dry to have any fires. No hot coffee today but lots of cold water in the cooler. :)

Yesterday I was thinking while making a pot of coffee with an old fashioned percolator that Ranch Roper was probably making boiled coffee in his camp. Sorry to hear you can’t have a fire, can’t even start a day without coffee.

Ya the fire would improve camp life for sure. I intend to camp well into the fall and early winter so there will be coffee!

Ha…that scene always makes me laugh. The very last thing you would want in winter is to get soaking wet rolling around in a creek. :)

Nope, not a thing wrong. I'd probably need to prop the barrel on your shoulder just to shoot. As always, good shooting.
