They have built a new COVID-19 testing center at the studios where they shoot in Scotland.
The whole filming process has had to adapt to the pandemic. Masks must be worn whenever possible; cast and crew must form a bubble, and regular testing must be performed.
According to the Daily Record, Outlander execs spent over £150,000 (about $204,000 based on the current exchange rate) to build their own testing center at Wardpark Film Studios. It is located in the parking lot of the studios.

The Outlander staff will be tested up to three times a week at the new center. Each rapid test runs about £150 (about $204). If someone tests positive, they won’t be allowed to work.
