Backyard bull moose

Post by Hatchdog » Fri Jun 30, 2023 10:29 am

This happened a couple of days ago while I was not home but my wife shared this story with me. Our dog was inside and barked which is not normal. Thinking he wanted to go outside she opened the slider door only to look up and see this moose just outside the fence. Our dog ran to the back of the yard and gave some barks. The bull turned and looked at him and the dog ran back to the house (good boy). Nice sized bull.

Beats the roadrunner that had my Westie barking yesterday. :D Great pic.

by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Wow that is a big one! Bet he could go right over the fence if he wanted to.

Neat picture. Smart dog getting in a few barks then heading back into the house. Good size moose.

We don't see many of those in our neck of the woods. Then again, I don't guess ya'll see many gators in yours.

Had another uninvited breakfast guest today. Moose steak and eggs, with a side of potatoes of course.
