The wonders of CNC machinery! Yep I have used CNC mills .... wire and plunge type EDM during my tool making employment. EDM been around since the 70's where you machined up a solid carbon electrode with the shape you needed and then did a plunge burn. Used that in the plastic injection mold making machining.
