Should There Be A Waiting Period/Background Check For These??

Post by Mr. Neutron » Wed Apr 05, 2023 10:02 pm

I cannot believe I'm posting this:

https://southernillinoisnow.com/2023/04 ... ozen-fish/

My question is, how many more people will be traumatized or injured before stricter laws are passed?

What's next though? A ban on High Capacity Salmon? Universal background checks for Walleye and Steelhead? Waiting periods for Largemouth Bass and Catfish? An Assault Muskie ban? Where will it end? T-shirts saying "You can get my Mackeral when you can pry my cold hands from it"? Lower daily catch limits are already in effect in some places.
I don't see this going anywhere good.......

This could expand to frozen chickens and other species in common use. Look at how easy it is to buy these dangerous weapons at supermarkets all over the country. The Horror!

I don’t want to be a big mouth but you are taking me for a sucker? Please scale back on the rhetoric as I don’t want to be lured into this.

They may send the perpetrator up the creek for that one.

Perish the thought of a frozen tomahawk steak in the hands of a bad person. We need to legislate these dangerous assault weapons right out of existence.

I remember reading a blub in Reader's Digest years ago where the French borrowed a special cannon from an US Aviation Company. It shot Bird carcasses and was used to test Aircraft Windshields. They wanted to test the windshield design on their high speed train before putting it into service. All the company bigshots were there to witness the big test. The design team loaded up a chicken and fired. The chicken blew thru the windshield, the back wall of the engineer's compartment and out through the next wall as well. What? They called in the techs and they reviewed the procedures.... step by step.... what went wrong?

"Um, DON'T use frozen chickens."

Here's a short video of hammering a nail with a banana.

Would those be steaks or chops?

Wow, Clovishound!

I’d never have thought to freeze a banana to drive a nail with. I guess that’d be a sorta “cooling off period”, huh?

In the place I call home a couple years ago there was an incident involving weapons of mass construction. 2 kids beat each other with 2 x 4's.

Not one mention of a frozen leg of lamb. I'm scared to walk the frozen food aisles of my local supermarkets.
