Looks like a couple of swipes with a bore snake with a couple spritzes of CLP on it would do a better job, not take much longer and be considerably cheaper.

These were around in the early 2k also. I saw them used at the skeet/trap range i helped at. It isn't used to clean so much as it is used to clear plastic fouling, smegma, and loose gunk. The guns still needed to be cleaned.

Exactly. I cannot see myself being so hurried as to justify using one of those, with such limited cleaning results, as opposed to a snake. :?

Hoppe's #9/Kroil 50-50 mix take that shotgun crud right out. Just let it set for about 10-15 minutes.

I use the GunSlick Foaming Bore Cleaner. It seems to work very well following directions. It's the best way I've found to remove copper.

I use Hoppes #9 and TetraGun Copper solvent in separate cleaning steps.

Based on what the product is supposed to do, this topic, to me, is about QUICK cleaning, not necessarily about the BEST cleaning products and methods. I'll stick with my snakes for QUICK cleaning though.

Appears no fans here. I wasnt for it , or pushing it... as i said, my existance back in the brush made it a new thing for me and i was just curious about such an odd idea. People come up with all sorts of ideas is what my thoughts were.
