I am hoping to test either a Henry lever action or single shot soon!

I'm just glad it uses .358 bullets instead of .355 like the legend.

What's wrong with the time tested .45-70? As just one example the Hornady 325 gr. FTX at 2000 FPS should take care of most any game within comfortable shooting distance. But then nothing wrong with many choices of hammers.

Some states with straight wall only, also have a brass length restriction. 1.8" max length.

He got a Henry rifle in that caliber so they must be making them. I still think that I will stay with my Marlin .375 as I have plenty of brass , a bullet mould and a box and a half of the Hornady 220 gr. bullets.

Travlin, I have no need fer one either, we aren't limited to any such rules that require it.
I have the 38-55 Cowboy and a pair of 444's for straight wall cases.
But my main hunting is done with the 35 Remingtons.
I'd like to take one with the Cowboy, maybe this will be the year.
My main like about the 360 is that it uses the 200 gr Core loc bullets, so maybe Remington will produce enough extra of those for us reloaders.
That's a favorite bullet for the ole 35's. ;) :D

Havent shot anything that takes LPP or LRP. Im gonna wait till the insane price currently at .15 a piece comes down to earth again. None of the shops where I am at in the anti gun country of Colorado is carrying anything.

They've been running around $90 per k + tax around here.
I have quite a few of all the ones I use.

Randy I was in Academy Sports and they didnt have anything here. I think the gun club might of had some but I didnt check last time I was in there. When I come back this next winter Im going to check some shops and I will probably go to a gun show or two. The last gun show I went to here the primers he had were very high. Unique was 60.00 a pound. I aint payin that

The local Academy here has only had a few that I know of and have a limit of around 400.
Last time I did see some there they were $7.99 a hundred. That was late last year.

As far as .35 caliber, my late friend bought me a Savage 99-358 for helping him move from Waycross Ga. to Lakeland Fl. So I will never sell that rifle.

There’s a local guy with a Remington 600 in 350 rem mag for sale. This is the good ole’ M/600 with the vent rib barrel, a classic indeed in a classic caliber. I have no need for it but it sure is appealing.

Those ole 600's will shoot, but I'd be lookin at what you can find some brass for before committing. Not sure how available it is.
Even 35 Rem. is gettin hard to come by.
Just my 2 cents.

Hatch, you ever shoot one of those .350 RM's in the 600? They are STOUT!

Remember that the 350 Remington is a belted case so you can't use say a 308 case to make one.

Never fired the 350 mag but my first Centerfire rifle was the Mohawk version of the 600 in .308. With the short barrel I found that it was a muzzle blasting SOB and I really didn’t care for it at all. I replaced it with a Ruger 77 in 30-06 and much preferred that rifle.
