Went through the flu type B. Set me down for a few days and has been slow in breaking up. Been 3 weeks and still have some chest congestion but I tested negative for Covid. Hope you get over it soon and your wife stays healthy.

I think that may be what I had in December. Tested negative for Covid but didn't have a Flu test done. Wasn't terribly sick but was very congested with a cough and shortness of breath for a couple of weeks, felt good for a couple of days and then it decided to come back for a couple more weeks.

The strange thing is Carol had Covid last Summer really bad and I took care of her and didn't get it.
Now in November I had it and she took care of me and she didn't get it either. Different strains I think.

its been 20 days since Christmas Eve when I started feeling sick from what turned out to be Covid and Influenza Type B .... I didn't get tested until Jan 2nd and it wasn't until a few days later that I started taking some pretty strong meds .... today is the first since then that I can say I am feeling much better .... have finished the steroids and no longer need the cough suppressant .... the antibiotics still have a few days to go .... I'm happy to say that the only nagging thing is dull sinus pressure .... hopefully by the time the antibiotics run out the sinus pressure will be gone as well

Great to hear. The only positive thing about being sick is when you start feeling better. Seems like they world has been lifted from your shoulders. :D
