But I do. In fact I own several and enjoy firing them as well. I reload most of the ammo I use, (except for .22s) and
like to work up loads for them as well.

Here are two of my favorites. The top one is of course a Henry Yellow Boy in .357 Magnum which is fairly new, but the bottom
rifle is a Marlin 1892 chambered for .32 Long Colt. .32 LC is no longer available for sale so I reload whatever I shoot in that.

The .32 is a lot of fun to shoot as it's like a giant .22. Little recoil and it still hits pretty hard with the big old lead bullet.

I found that 1892 Marlin in a gun store in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northern Virginia where I used to hunt deer back in 1977 or so.
It had several layers of Orange Shellack on it and I presume it had hung over a mantel for a few decades. I spent
a Winter cleaning it up and now I just enjoy it. It's really pretty accurate. I added the peep sight a few years back.
I've had several folks try to buy it, but it's not for sale just yet.

Believe it or not I also have a Marlin 1892 in 32 colt, supposedly it was made in 1899. Sometime before I got it someone had have redone this one as it is super clean. Lol, yeah none of that ammo.on a shelf anywhere, even though I do have a partial box. Like you I like lever guns, and is the largest part of my meager collection.
Here are my 92's.
Left to right, the Marlin 32 colt, then the Winchester in 25-20, the best I've been able to find it was made in either 1912 or '13 another must reload. then the Rossi clones,
the shiney 357, and the short one is a 45 colt.

I believe it was 1912. It was a long time ago that I looked it up. The nice thing is that it's all original.

Somebody did a great job on your Marlin Randy...looks great!

So I did the research again and my 1892 was manufactured in 1897. It is convertible from center fire
to rim fire but I only have the center fire pin. Some have told me that you only have to switch the firing
pin from one to another, but I have never seen any rim fire anyway.

I often wonder what that old rifle has done or where it has been. I do love old artifacts.

Well, Okay. Now you made me do it. Here's my collection of levers, (so far anyway).

Right to left... My Henry in .357 Mag.
A marlin .22 I purchased new in 1976.
Winchester in .32 Special that I purchase back in 1980 and restocked.
A Marlin 336 in 30-30 that I purchased new in 1956. (My first deer rifle).
My Marlin 1892 in .32 LC.
A Ruger Number 3 in .22 Hornet. I purchased a barreled action and my son and I stocked it.
A Ruger Number 1 in 8mm Mauser. My primary deer rifle when I hunted the mountains. Yup, a single shot.

So, there you go. I have several more rifles and shotguns as well.

I've had some more Henry's but my really good friend that lives up the road wanted them, so
I sold them to him. He's more like a son to me than my own sons, so I feel good about it.

I have a few more also and have posted a pic of them here before, but all can really see are the bottom 2 3rds of them.
And there are a few more in the stable since that pic was made.
Believe it or not I can still tell you what each is.
