I just got back. Lines were longer than usual for midterms, but got in and out pretty quickly.

Here is Washington State we are all mail in and have been for many years. We mailed our ballots a week ago and can go online to check status. Both of ours have been “accepted”.

I voted 2 weeks ago on the day early voting started. I knew there was no way my choices were going to change.

I voted early and often. Just kidding on the latter, but I did vote early.

I thought about voting early. Trouble is, my closest early voting location is an hour round trip. My regular voting location is 5 minutes away. I was away from the house less than 30 minutes total voting this morning. Of course, the presidential elections were a different story. I waited more than an hour for most of those.

I certainly understand that. My early voting location is only 10 minutes away, but my normal polling place at the local high school is walking distance.
