If you looking for a padded shooting glove.......

Post by fortyshooter » Wed Nov 02, 2022 4:07 pm

Figured it wouldn't hurt to get a well padded shooting glove for my left hand since I have some arthritis action going on in palm of my hand.
Looked online and didn't find much to pick from that might fit my needs so went local shopping looking at mechanics type gloves.
Ace Hardware had the best glove I had seen compared to Home Depot or Lowes with good padding in palm area topped with a nice grippy textured material. Brought them home and cut below knuckles and have a great feeling glove.

Will see how it works on my handguns.

Nice Forty. That looks like it could be a winning combination. Awaiting you final review.

Again; those look great Forty. I might add though, now that the subject comes up, I have a pair of fingerless palm padded motorcycle gloves that might serve the purpose.
. Just kinda thinkn' out loud here. They are currently in my saddlebag in Carol's garage. Who knows, they might work for shooting as well. I also suffer from some arthritis and numbing in my hands.

I use the whole glove when shooting, if I wear one. It's interesting to see you both don't.

I have a similar glove pair, but a different brand. Not quite as bulky, and excellent fitting. Called Hypertough, available at Lowes and other places.

Tried the glove out today and it worked well with that extra padding around the palm/ joint area.
