Re: Visiting bear?
I wouldn't recommend taking the actual sample to the fish and game office in a plain brown bag to get an ID... Reception gets annoyed when they open the bag for the security check as you try to enter the secure Law Enforcement building.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

What? No smell of pepper spray and little bells?Hatchdog wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 9:38 amSince I first posted this I have found two more piles of crap I believe are bear poop. One was full of grass and the other seeds and bugs like the first pile. Nothing fresh and again the size is on the small side for a bear which makes my pause with my claim. Still can’t think of any other animal that could leave leavings like this.

One 24 hours worth of poops in the wheel barrow (17 separate piles), and one of the culprits. I figure there must have been at least 3 in the yard for that much dung.

Several questions answered including “does a bear poop in Redthies’s yard?”
