Jim, it's a good thing nothing got in the way of that limb except the lawn. I have had similar results with my Harbor Freight winch. I was taking our old dock out and the stairway got caught on a boulder. I noticed it when the truck started moving slightly. A wedge was always placed under a tire and I paid better attention.

I have 2 HF generators. One is a 3500 watt that is over 10 years old. Betcha will still crank on the third pull......Second is an 8750 watt that will run my whole house. Including well with the exception of my heat pump. It's 5 years old and runs like a top. Ran once for 48 hours with me just topping of the gas tank
i buy sanding belts, sheets and disc. Blades and all kind of other stuff........I really like their store.

That’s some serious resistance from a limb stuck in the ground. That must have been some incredible force driving it into the ground.

AGREE on both counts .... it really surprised me at how long the limb was
