I put the 25 yard hanger out to 50 yards. You can barely see it in this picture.

This is the hanger from the side. It was a pickup truck side railing.

I can barely stand under the top rail. You can see how high the berm is. Next spring after the dirt has settled I’ll push it from the back (left) and make it steeper.

Another view showing the back and closed side. The board is 6’4” and is there to show scale.

The hanger is barely in place. I will need to fix it more permanent. Right now it’s muddy after last nights rain.

I found the easiest way to get proper spacing is put both rods in the slots, place them on the ground where I want them at the proper angle and with a wooden block on the shelf on the back as a spacer, tap with the mallet to start the rebar.

I remove the plate, drive both rebar rods in about a foot, then remount the plate. Repeat until they are all set. In VA I also mounted the plates down along the creek bed painted orange as a walking course. :D I designed them to mount on the rebar rods For Flexibility.
I will most likely get to it next spring. I’m in the process of winterizing. I also haven’t fixed the toilet.

Maybe we should schedule a time to help Gene shoot. With all of us spotting. Lol. Would be a lot of fun, getting together.

Everyone is welcome and I have plenty of ammo. Please bring your own shovel.

Not these boots. I buy Goodwill boots for decor and shootin’. It’s still muddy on the hill.
