My Dad passed away 1928-2022

Post by Coach » Sat Sep 10, 2022 1:03 pm

My Dad was a gentle loving man.

He was a Korean War veteran and a Deputy Sheriff.

I’m the youngest of 5 children. He had 12 grandkids and 13 great grandchildren.

He will be buried in the California Korean War veterans memorial cemetery with full military honors.

He led a good long life.

Love you Dad…

Hey coach, God’s blessings on you and yours. It sounds like your dad led a great life.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Sorry for your loss, I'm sure he'll be missed. My Stepdad served in the Marines during Korea and passed in '81. My father is a Navy Vietnam Vet, battling cancer. I know your pain.

Prayers for you and yours.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Thank you everyone for your support.

He was fighting Parkinson’s and his heart failure. It was his time to rest.

He was a religious man and was at peace in the end.

Condolences Coach. My dad was also born in 1928 and served in Korea like yours. Lost him in 2011. Your dad is now comfortable and in a great place.
