with 10 grs. Unique, and the other with 7.5 grs. Trail Boss.
I know what the Unique load can do, but I've never tried the TB.
Something to shoot in between the 6.5 test rds.

Do you have a 38-55 Henry? I don't see or hear about that round much. Looks like that would have some range -

No sir, I have a Marlin Cowboy with the 24" octagon barrel.Kissmybrass wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 10:52 amDo you have a 38-55 Henry? I don't see or hear about that round much. Looks like that would have some range -

The previous owner of it, a good friend, he used it to ring gongs out to 900+ yds.![]()

I've not shot it that far.![]()
I wouldn't mind a Henry to compare with this Marlin, but
I don't care for the carved stock that comes on that model.
Been thinking about one of the single shot 30-30's, and then sending it to JES to have rebored to 38-55.![]()

I contacted him the other day about the idea, and he said no problem.

Nice group Randy, must have sneezed on that 5 0'clock hit. Karma was telling you it was cocktail time and you needed to pour a whiskey !
I was going to guess 2000 on your primer contest think I was such a smart fella. Then I read your bottle was a mix of rifle and pistol. So much for being a smart fella.runnin n gunnin wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 7:08 pmDe-capped, resized and cleaned 2K 9mm cases.

Great die that is a single die and works for 9mm/38/357 without having to adjust it in any way, and is rock solid, no broken pins on this die. I ran the brass through my Hornady progressive with a brass feeder, then threw them in the Hornady Sonic Cleaner.

Yes and No Tom, I am just getting back on my feet from the COVID, picked up the OMNI variant and it put me flat on my back, worse than the original I had in 2019. Nasty stuff, just lingers. Doing much better now.r-n-g, you finally back home for a spell? You been a busy boy.
