Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Well, I started yesterday afternoon loading some 45 colts, the 250 gr. RFN #1 Cowboys from MB over 8.5 grs. of Unique.
These shoot well out of the Rossi and the Cimmaron.
I had loaded 30+ when the oldest daughter called and wanted to know if I wanted to meet up and have a couple adult beverages.
So this morning I finished up 50 of those and loaded 25 more using MB's 200 gr. RN oddballs, over 6.5 grs. of Red dot.
Got 25 more expanded and after this little coffee break I'll finish those.
Who knows, I might load something else when I finish those.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Well, I did finish the 45's and then, sized, primed, and loaded 50 357's with MB co. 180 gr Pugnose over 11.4 grs. of 2400.
Found a small stash of 41 and 44 mag brass that is already primed, guess I'll stuff the 44's with the 240 gr. Smashers with some Unique also.
Might as well, while I'm at it.

Took it out of storage and got an inventory of what I have and what I need. Gonna reload some Hornady 45-70s and figure out the best possible bear round for my new SW 686+ 357(which I'm impatiently waiting for). So far I ordered 100 grizzly hard cast gas checks in .357 Hard to find reload data on these. At least something substantial.

45-70 reloads, some FTX and some Missouri 300g. All crimped with the Lee Factory dies. Love finishing them off so neatly!

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Sized and primed 50 7.62x39........And when the sun went down I went to my range and shot a box of 9mm through my BHP.
Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Loaded 4 different test loads for .243 Win. and 4 different test loads for .308 Win.
Still don't have powders for my regular loads, so using powders I can get. Getting very close to the performance of my regular loads though.
(I'm really not as happy as the emoji shows, but the smile emoji actually looks sick! So I had to go with the other!)

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Nothing yet. I am planning to get to the range a couple mornings next week to shoot up last years hunting loads. I plan to load some 270AI 85gr Barnes bullets for a pronghorn hunt. For pigs and hogs, I will load up 45 Colt, 45-70, 44 mag. I have trusted and true loads for them. No need to change. Dead is dead.

I loaded up some 140 gr. blems with 3 different powders to try in the Savage 6.5 Creed.
Try and shoot 'em one afternoon this week.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
I do, I just picked this one up right after the first of the year, and played with it a little.
It's got some reach, not that I need it in most places I hunt but what da heck.
And little recoil, nothing like the -06 of even that ole 45-70 that so many like.
And one the grandsons can play with before long.
Hopefully. That was one of my main reason for it.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
KMB, I am sorry I didn't get back to you on what I use for hogs. I like hard cast lead 405gr flat heads with either 30-31 grs of IMR 3031 or IMR 4198 43gr for 1870fps. this load will get your attention. You can go up to 46 grs if your a self abuser. My load will flat slap the Heaven out of any hog. I have shot several 300 lbs + boars with either of those loads. Good luck on finding a place to hunt. They sure are fun to stalk.
