Glad you mentioned that; I thought that was the steepest hill I'd ever seen. :)

Great photo!

The SGC -- no matter how you look at it, Henry has got it together.

That rimfire rifle looks like it's a Frontier or SGC that you have changed the rear sight to a tang and replaced the front with a globe. Please tell us about it.

Hey PT7 I like your idea of closeups. The buttplate is such a simple composition but it works.

Thanks, SH.
For me being the amateur that I am, it has been really tough for me to get any decent closeups. I think I have a guess as to why these turned out a little better. I finally was able to figure out how to turn off the auto flash on my camera. Duh-duh, that has taken just about forever!

There are two photos I would edit, if only I knew how. I recall from a long time ago that you had a "fix" for dust appearing on the metals or wood. My shots of the hammer & Skinner peep, and the very tight hammer photo, both show a lot of rag dust. You had done something to eliminate all that stringy-looking stuff, etc. I don't know if I have the means to do that, but your photos sure looked clean! I guess I could say mine are workshop-oriented with all the dust flying around! ;)

Sir Henry,
Picked the Frontier up 1 1/2 years ago and right off my older eyes were not happy with ye ole buckhorn. First mod was the scope, which is now on my BBS Carbine. There was just something wrong with a scope on the Frontier could hit what I aimed at, but, the look and fun were not there for me. Next switched front sight to a Hi Viz...no help. Sooo..started digging into all the info I could find that worked and fit the rifle. Globe front and Tang rear. The difference was and is amazing. Anyone I have handed the rifle to hits what they aim at. Sister in law, who has never fired a rifle, 50 yards, bench, 6 in. round steel, went 3 for 3 ( have that on video and its great to watch). Brother in law from 150 yards same set up went 3 for 3. I went 1 for 3. I love the set up and the accuracy of these rifles is fantastic.
