I swapped from verizon to consumer cellular back in late February. I have been very happy with it, and them. We went from 385 per month to 90 bucks.

The wife and I did the same thing a couple of years ago. Verizon is good but I've never had an issue since we switched.

Yes it’s smaller than my last one which was too big to handle. This phone and service is FAST!

I got the iPhone 13 mini and the wife has a 13 pro.

I still.have an iphone 11, but didn't want that. I had an old flip phone for years, then went to one with a slide out keyboard for texting, but still not a smart phone. Only got a smart phone because we had to switch when we got here. Only US Cellular works, sort of, in our area. They didn't offer dumb phones. I had been in my LE contract with verizon for over twenty years, they were GLAD to get out of it. Really glad. Really, really.

I have an iphone xr10 as does my wife. I also have iwatch 7. I use the watch for my bike rides and the activity app which I really like. My watch is a phone also so now when I do go for a ride I dont need to carry my phone. Ive had a iwatch for sometime but I cracked the crystal on it last year and it just kept gettin worse so I decided to get a watch with phone capabilities. For 2 phones and the watch my bill is 95.00 a month. Im gonna stay with Verizon I have a because of the watch. I have a plan that is 5 gb plan which is plenty for us as what we dont use rolls over. I dont use my phone for a hot spot much.

I never came close to my old plan. The new plan is basically unlimited. I rarely get calls, other than spam, which goes to voice mail. But, we live out there, so we need a phone. Sigh....

We both have iPhones and an unlimited plan from Verizon. It's expensive but Carol uses the phone as a hot spot
when we're traveling so she can practice her trade. We pay about $180.00 a month.
Turns out when our WIFI fails at home the phone also takes over here.
I suppose she deducts it as a business expense. I stay out of that stuff. That's her bailiwick.

I want a phone that can fit in my shirt pocket. I do carry it in a belt case sometimes. I have Verizon as a carrier as it gave the best service in the Adirondack mountains. Now I wouldn't know if I could save anything by switching, I can get signal at the house and it works. I don't care about getting calls at camp anymore.

I traded in an 8+ for a 13 mini. The 13 is much smaller and a little bigger than the 5. So far I’m getting a lot faster internet. I use it as a phone about once a week.

Mine is an IPhone XR, whatever that means. It fits in my shirt pocket which makes me happy.
I use if for a lot of things, but don't talk on it very much.
Actually I can control my hearing aids with it and since we have SimpliSafe Security I can check any
of our cameras whenever I want and wherever I am. I text quite a bit as well.

My late wife had our first mobile phone. It was in the 1980's; a bag phone for the car and calls were billed at 10 cents per minute. She had a long commute at the time, so it was just for emergencies. Later, I got a bag phone for my car, too; again, just for emergencies (I still have both bag phones). But, the account was in her name.

In the late 2010s when ID theft began to proliferate, we each had our credit reports frozen, and when she passed away in 2017, AT&T closed her mobile account. Since I didn't want to jump through the hoops to unfreeze my credit report just for a cellphone, I bought a Motorola E4 Plus, Unlocked Smartphone from Amazon (for $170) and signed up with T-Mobile for month-to-month billing. No credit check required. They automatically charge my CC each month for $16.61, which gets me unlimited phone and text and 3 gigs of data per month.

The phone is configured to first try to connect to WiFi for all communications where it's available, and since I have Xfinity for my home TV and Internet, I also have access to their WiFi network wherever it's available. In my world, that's pretty much everywhere. I've never even come close to using 3 gigs of T-Mobile data in a month.

Size is one of the big aggravations with my current phone. I couldn't get a smaller phone without paying a lot more money. I would much rather spend that money on something I actually enjoy. When it comes time to replace this monstrosity, I hope I can find something a little more pocket friendly without spending the same as a nice gun, or camera lens. I notice a lot of people are constantly watching shows, movies etc on their phones, so I guess the market demands bigger screens.

I can link phone to my TV so the size of my phone doesn’t matter. I can actually type faster on a smaller phone. My old phone was to small vertical and to big horizontal. Goldilocks says this phone is just right.

I can link my phone to my camera, and use it to remotely control the camera. That may end up be useful at some point.

My phone is my internet provider. My computer runs off it. It’s fast and relatively inexpensive. I can see the AT&T tower low on the horizon so I get excellent reception and speed.

My cell reception in the house is not that great. It is a little better with the smart phone vs the flip phones. I can also set the phone to access my home wifi, although my home internet has been spotty from time to time.

We link it from time to time so we can stream Amazon. We also link to our laptops on the road.
