This is a great day for the Hoosier state.
I did not think our Governor had the testicular fortitude to stand up to the state police commissioner, Moms who need some action, and the liberals who hate constitutional freedoms.

I can now say he has done one thing right.

Georgia and Nebraska look likely to join the club this year also. And I'd expect several more in the next 18 months. The message has been sent that we are done playing games with our Rights.

I'll be happy if WA state stays a shall issue state and doesn't change to a may issue state.

An interesting colorized map of the country, from Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitutional_carry :

Image

Issue of concealed carry permit by county (2022):

Green Constitutional carry (permitless)
Fuchsia Shall-issue (Constitutional carry not yet in effect)
Dk Blue Shall-issue
Lt Blue Permissive May-issue (Shall-issue in practice)
Yellow May-issue
Red Restrictive May-issue (No-issue in practice)
Black No-issue

be advised that a few comments in this thread have pushed this forum's prohibition of political commentary ..... its a perfectly valid topic, let's not kill it by wandering into politics
