Henry 223/556 long ranger in and zeroed

Post by Brando73 » Sun Mar 20, 2022 4:12 pm

Not completly zeroed but mostly. Set at 100 yds with some factory ammo which did well but will get all I can out of her with the match ammo I have and I'll get her legs under her at 100/200/300.
I love this Henry. Makes my 10th one and I think I'm done unless I decide to get the all weather 45/70 gov with side gate. Not sure why but I like the look of it even though I'm not particularly a fan of the round.
Thats a Arken 6-24x50 ffp scope, and I'm showing the unique mag's. 150 rounds with 3 mags and zero issues. The button on the side of the action is the mag release. Also a pic of the target at 100 yds that I mostly zeroed with factory American 556 ammo doing 2 shot groups. This gun shoot well and I can't wait to properly zero.
I'll see if I can add a picture of it here

I've had her our a few times and going back out Friday if we don't have any tornado's Ha. Seems to be the reason for the season the last couple of days/weeks but I love my state.
Taking my Henry Pump and my .17 varmint out along with needing to zero my M1 Garand. Got enough brass for the M1 now so I can spend some time getting it close to where I need before I find a load. Need to tune it some with my Gas block adjust.

The stock on the M1 is beautiful! It’s one of my favorite rifles.
