Re: Regional Gas Prices
I like to fill the rig up with diesel at the end of each day, (just a habit of mine).
Anyway, I pulled into a Love's just off the Interstate and all the pumps were full and the
price had risen to $5.429. I looked across the street and a small place called ENMarket had
diesel listed at $4.99. Sounded too good to be true, plus there was no one at the pumps.
I cruised right over there and sure enough, the price was correct, but you could only pump
15 gallons at a time. Well, I had plenty of time so I just kept inserting my card and pumping.
I saved around 43 cents a gallons for almost 50 gallons.
Win, win!

Re: Regional Gas Prices
We have a trip planned to Salt Lake City in April and will be pulling our travel trailer. Originally we planned on continuing south to southeast Arizona where my wife’s dad was raised. Even tho Salt Lake City is probably half way there we decided to cancel that part of the trip due to the gas prices. We will probably keep our trips somewhat local this year. Lots to do around here so that’s fine with us.

Re: Regional Gas Prices
Exactly why I avoid truck stops like the plague. There prices are sky high. I realize with a class A you cannot always get into a place so it makes it tough.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 8:36 amI like to fill the rig up with diesel at the end of each day, (just a habit of mine).

Interesting photo for an Aussie,
Our regular is 91, E10 93, we then have a couple of premiums options at 95 and 98.
Diesel most places only have one option, some of the larger truck stops will have a blend without the additives at a few cents cheaper. Colder areas get a winter blend with anti freeze additives for about 6 months a year at the same prices.

Re: Regional Gas Prices
Definitely gouging going on. Even before these price increases and potetial shortages, it was never more than .10 to .20 cents a gallon more for premium over regular. What's up with a $1.20 difference. Shortage or not, it's still the same stuff...right?

Re: Regional Gas Prices
Most here have the winter blend. I had the choice of paying too much for eight gallons for filling up the next time I has in Medford. Next time I’ll know.220 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 3:50 pmInteresting photo for an Aussie,
