Which Caliber for Home Defense

Any of the calibers you have are great for self defense, I keep a Ruger MarkIV tactical 22 auto with a tac light at our side (yep a 22) Buster and Oliver share the bed and are the world's greatest 4-legged bark alarms and require no batteries... If someone/something doesn't like being hit with ten CCI mini mags we have an old double barrel 12 gauge with 00B handy..
