Old missing picture found

Here's the whole gang. My Father is dead center behind his parents. This was taken around 1950.
They're all gone now. I miss them.
But they were all good hard working folks and I'm proud to have known them all.

Four generations. My Father, his Mother, and her Mother with little old me at about a year old.

And one more, Albert Cooper, My Great Grandfather with his family.
My Grandfather is standing on the left.
I would guess this was somewhere between 1880 and 1890.

I've posted this before, but this is my Grandfather. He was working as a cowboy in Montana just before WWI. He had the family nose even way back then.

Dave77, that looks like an old Argus C3 (brick). I started with a hand me down Argus C-4, when I was in college.

Great pictures that everyone posted! It's a good thing to keep those for the young ones to see their history. Now everything is digital and just not the same as an old family picture.

Dave77, that looks like an old Argus C3 (brick). I started with a hand me down Argus C-4, when I was in college.

There's some history in that picture. Thanks guys for posting these. This kind of living just isn't going to happen anymore. Strength and bravado back then.

Dave77, that looks like an old Argus C3 (brick). I started with a hand me down Argus C-4, when I was in college.

It is, although it doesn't have any marking other than lens info and what I assume is a serial # and a sticker with patent #'s on the inside. Had a very basic light meter but I haven't seen it for ages.

Looked a the C4 and it looks very similar but with some improvements like a better lens. Interesting article by a photographer that went back to using film and at the time the article was written in 2017 was actually using his late father in law's C4 for some of his shoots.

It was a great starter camera for me, but if I were to go back to shooting film, it wouldn't be my first choice to pack in my bag. An older all mechanical 35mm SLR, or better yet a medium format SLR or TLR.

I recently gave a family member my dad's Rollei 3.5F TLR. I hated to part with it, but realized I would never shoot film again, and would rather it be used than sit in a drawer. I do have visiting rights.

This picture was taken in the Early 60s. My sister is at the far right.
The youngster at the far left at rigid attention would many years later become a BrokenolMarine.

This one? Mid 50s? My mother's graduation from Admin School, she is the WAVE at the far left.

OK, here's one of my favorite Uncles. He was a Marine Corp tank commander on Iwo Jima.
In fact the home town newspaper stated that when the movie "Sands of Iwo Jima" with John Wayne came
out the combat footage was of Bill's tank in action.
Of all seven brothers he was the only Marine. The rest were Army with one Army Air Force.
