Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

New BBS side gate
Weather warmed up here in Mo., so I was able to get to the range to shoot my BB in .357. I put on a old 6x18 scope just to remove sighting error. I was impressed with the accuracy with the 5 different loads I put through it. The only load it didn't like was a hot 125grn load. The rifle did have a problem with feeding as it would jam about every third shot. When I got back to the shop I completely disassembled it and found what I think is the problem. The action had what looked like packing tape throughout the action.

Wow! but an easy fix.
Sounds like otherwise it was a good outing.

Someone must have been in a hurry? Glad you were able to resolve the issue. I had a similar issue with my Marlin 336W. Took it apart and found a piece of clear, hard plastic in the loading tube, by the receiver. Every so often, it would not cycle smoothly. I guess things happen. But, some things could be avoided. Yet, it is what it is. Happy shooting!

You'll like it even more now that it's not gummed up! Glad that's all it was.
Found a broken off piece of what I think was a plastic chamber flag lodged in a new (supposedly) rifle once (not a Henry), so I cringe whenever I see or read about someone shooting a gun right from the box. At least run a snake or rod through the barrel, better yet clean off the machine oil & relube.
But I don't the action apart, so wouldn't have caught that one.

Re: New BBS side gate
That ought to clear up the problem.

Nice that you could do the work your self. Not nice you had to do it though.
