Moose rub

Post by Hatchdog » Wed Dec 01, 2021 5:54 pm

There’s a place up the road a couple of miles that has equestrian and hiking trails that is pretty large, in fact the longest hike is 5.5 miles. Today we took our pup there for some hiking which was wonderful. Saw this moose rub that is this years, note the fresh branches on the ground he knocked down. Saw a huge pile of moose crap, biggest pile I have ever seen so probably the bull that did this rub left that pile. Got a neighbor up the road that had a large bull in her yard a few days ago. Could easily be the same guy as the distance between her yard and this rub is less than a mile as the crow flies.

Very cool. It would be nice to see him using the rub.

And I thought this was going to be about a spice mixture for wild game.

Oh, I know what you mean by dairy bull. I've dealt with a few of them in my younger years. :o
