Rim fire scope on big boy

Anyone ever mount a rimfire scope on a big boy 44?
Any thoughts on this. Most shots from zero to 100. Right now I have a red dot on it. But maybe cross hairs would be a fine tuner set up. Thanks..

I have the Leupold Freedom 2-7x Rimfire scope mounted on a couple of Big Boys. I like it as it is parallax adjusted for 60 yards and I sight in my Big Boys in at 50 yards. I have another Big Boy with the same scope but a center fire version and quite frankly I can’t see much difference. The center fire scope is parallax adjusted at 125 yards. Someday I’ll transfer it to a Henry 30-30 when I get one and put the rimfire version of this scope on the Big Boy. Biggest problem is Leupold raised the price in 2021 from $199 to $299.

I'm with Al on this one. Most rimfire scopes are parallax set at 50 or 60 yards, so if you'll be taking shots only out to 100 yards, no problem.
