Definitely a good choice. I've owned several Model 19s and loved them. Would have been my choice, too.

Too late. He made his own choice for his own reasons. Same choice I would have made!

Re: Which wheel gun should I choose?
That's cool, understandable no doubt.Coach wrote: ↑Tue Nov 09, 2021 11:38 amI chose the 19.
Reasons: I don’t have a 2.5” revolver and I do have a 6” 66-2.
The colt would be great but my nephew who will eventually get all my guns wants the 19. He already has my dad's, his grandpa’s 6” 19 and cherishes it.
It was a great Dilemma to have…
And Congrats to the nephew as well.

I saw that. It’s always nice to ask for suggestions but in the end there are so many things that make us different and we always need to please ourselves.markiver54 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 09, 2021 8:42 pmToo late. He made his own choice for his own reasons. Same choice I would have made!

Thanks for the replies.
My nephew was my shooting buddy and is great kid. He lives in Southern California now.
He’s a lawyer now and works for a international law firm that are corporate defense lawyers. He’s one of the good guys.
He already has gotten a few fire arms from me. My dad’s 6”-19 as I mentioned, my Sig P-220 and an AR 15. Lucky guy. He’s the only one who is interested in guns of the next generation. I don’t have any kids.
Here he is with my PWS MK114.

And here with my Beretta shotgun.
