Redthies wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 11:51 amMy 20” Model 94 (1911 manufactured) is considered a carbine for that era. Henry considers 20” a rifle, but 16.5” gets my BBSC the carbine designation, while everyone else calls a 16” barrel a “trapper”. It’s all rather subjective.
Oh, and in my mind, it’s bean.
Trapper! Now there's a word ya can't @#$% up!

My “race” chilli is just meat and peppers. My homestyle chilli has beans along with the beef, serranos, onions etc.

Re: How do you pronounce "carbine"?
If the barrel gets short enough, the rifle becomes a pistol. One of mine has a 10" barrel, and has Pistol Use Only stamped on the frame.
But then THAT would be another post.
Then of course, there are the Axe and the Mare's Leg...
Not rifles, not pistols, NOT shotguns.
Firearms.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
