new Langdon Compact Carry targets

Post by dave77 » Tue Aug 24, 2021 1:25 am

Got out Saturday and was able to get my laser sighted in, realized the reason I couldn't get it close first time out was that I was doing it backwards. Once I was doing it right it only took about 20 rounds.

First target was after getting it zeroed with the laser and braced out on the hood of my truck, about 10 yds.

Second target was at 7 yds. off hand, a few just using the iron sights and then 15 rounds fairly rapid fire with the laser.

The grid on both targets is 1".

I really like this gun, it's not a huge amount better than my stock PX4 compact but the trigger is so smooth and the reset is incredibly short.

Will be happy when ammo prices come down some more so I shoot more. Was by Coastal today and they finally had some 9mm but $29 a box. I can't afford to shoot at $60 for a 100 rounds. Still have around 25 pre-shortage boxes left so I can shoot occasionally. I would be more than happy if 9mm would get down to $15 a box, maybe next year.😿
Looks like it's finally going to cool off some so I can get out and shoot my pellet gun more.
