I was shooting multiple times a day every day and must brag I was getting real good. In the last month I’ve only shot three times and have to admit I wasn’t very good. My biggest problem has always been trigger management.
When I was good I wasn’t holding it any better or seeing the target any clearer. What I was doing was getting the shot off when I was on target. For me it is all about squeezing the trigger at the right moment.
It’s also been about a month since I threw a steak on the barbie. I burnt the steak because I forgot about time while I was shooting.
Guess who just had a birthday? We did. Henry Rifle Forums has made it to the 10 year mark. Thank you to all members, I'm glad you are here!

Too many houses in the crosshairs.

I can understand being out of practice, but burning a steak is unforgivable.

Nothing a little more regular shooting won't cure. I always have to work back up to my best form when I haven't been shooting for awhile. Nice thing about a BB gun is that it won't cost much.

Exactly. I’m getting up with the sun and working to noon on getting this place to ready to sell. Then I’m on the internet till late at night. Sometimes I’m only getting a couple hours of sleep.

It is nice to be able to shoot two minutes after deciding too instead of an hour prep and an hour drive. I suspect it would only take a week to get good again.North Country Gal wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 6:42 pmNothing a little more regular shooting won't cure. My biggest problem today is that when I was shooting today I was still thinking about houses.
