Re: www.skinnersights.com
Yep... TOO Late. I'm trying to get into a new shop we started building on about a year ago. Too crowded where we are. So... Late yesterday evening I was powering up the well and purging the infloor heating system.
After the day is over, I start burning the midnight oil answering all my email and checking whats happening online. Between standard production, customer service, working in the building, etc, my online time gets relegated to late night and occasionally first thing in the morning. (I try to answer customer emails several times a day, starting first thing in the AM)

Really cool kit on Skinner Sights.
Just saw this today. Sure would be nice with a Henry takedown....Maybe someone can talk Mr. Imperato into making one.

now that is a great idea .... the list price is a bit high but if it was a Henry 44 w/ pistol grip stock, I'd be willing to pay it

Re: www.skinnersights.com
That is a great kit. Every Bush Pilot should have one in the plane.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

If you go down to the bottom, the Ruger bolt action is left handed. Reverse image?

Re: www.skinnersights.com
Probably not. Ruger makes several left-handed models in the American centerfire rifles.Travlin wrote:If you go down to the bottom, the Ruger bolt action is left handed. Reverse image?

Good eye... and it is a Left Handed Ruger. My wife is Left Handed and she was shooting that rifle for a while.Travlin wrote:If you go down to the bottom, the Ruger bolt action is left handed. Reverse image?
Now she shoots a LH Browning X Bolt and Dennis Olsen (Gunsmith in Plains Montana) is building her a LH Ruger 77 30-06 in a Manlicher stock. She loves pretty wood!
The first run of Bush Pilots are almost all sold. I think we have 2 left. A second run is in the works and will be available soon. They go quick.
I've talked to the guys at Henry, no takedowns for a while.
