Sig P365XL

Post by Oldbrass » Sat Apr 03, 2021 5:24 pm

Picked this up Wednesday and took it out today. First up was a magazine of my carry load 124gr Federal HST. Then 400 reloads of every weight and flavor. No issues no failures, light strikes etc. Is a fine shooter. Now for a good initial cleaning. Round capacity 12+1.

How do you like that flat trigger? I have the std P365, but put a flat trigger in it and XS Big Dot sights. Sig does make a fine pistol. It's my EDC since last year.

I like the flat trigger, for a compact 9mm it has good self defense accuracy .target was 10 yards

I picked one up about a month ago. A lovely shooter and as one reviewer said " it melts in your hand". The recoil is easily handled and had no issues with cheap ammo.

That's pretty impressive capacity for a Micro-Compact, wish they made something similar in a SA/DA. At least you can get it with a safety.

ProMag also makes mags for them - all the way up to a 50 rd drum  ( I wouldn't advise getting any Pro-Mags - they have a terrible reputation). Of course with extended mags you add grip length. Some folks are ok with that, but I'm happy with the 10 and 12rnd mags. As for the safety, that's optional depending on the grip frame you get. Mine doesn't have one.

Kind of defeats the purpose of having a Micro-Compact doesn't it.
