I chose a couple of Yuengling's on draft. It is hard just to choose one.

We cannot get Yuengling's here in the Twin Cities area. We've asked if they could order it and they
don't know what it is.

I did not know either, until I came to Virginia. Now, it has became my favorite. I guess it is kind of a Eastern thing?

I don't think it's distributed nation wide but right now I have a case of Shell's Deer Brand, Pre Prohibition Lager.
I can't always get it, but when I can I do like it. The bottle says the recipe has been around since 1860.
They describe it as a "straw colored mild malt flavor".

Yes, taste is a peculiar thing. At one time, I did not like coffee without cream and sugar. Then, I started liking coffee without cream and sugar. Now, I like a little cream and sugar in my coffee. My mother law use to like a little coffee in her Cognac. Me, I my liquor straight. Maybe, a little ice to help cool it out. But, it is hard to beat a nice cold beer. Some are more bolder and smoother than others. Yet, most go down well, when they are cold.

Agreed. I won't mix any good quality spirits. I occasionally enjoy a Bloody Mary or Vodka/Tonic, but even then I use cheap Vodka.
Sometimes, a Margarita using Cuervo.

I spent the night at my buddy's place and we went to the Mexican restaurant. I had tacos with a Modelo.and a couple Margaritas.

Got reservations tonight to eat Smelt! I know, bait, but I do like the little fishys.
Our favorite supper club, all you can eat. Probably have a good local beer or maybe
even a martini to wash them down.
Soaked in buttermilk, battered and deep fried with fries and slaw.
They're a heck of a lot better than canned sardines.

Well, (burp), we're back. We got in early because in the past they have run out, but not tonight.
We had two huge platters of smelt along with a basket of twice cooked French fries, cole slaw,
a loaf of garlic toast and I had a nice dark local draft beer while Carol had a couple glasses of white
wine. They were really good. The smaller ones I like the best as they are sweeter and the tails are
crispy.

They can seat a lot of folks and they were full up with people waiting out side for their turn. This is
a family run place and they all know us and treat us like members of their family as well. It's nice
to feel comfortable and hear folks laughing and chatting as they eat. It's our happy place.
And the food is great too.
