Using .357 cases, you can move up to 5.5-6.0gr Unique with that 158. Like BigAl said, that ought to improve things. If you had 2400 powder, we could really help out. What other powders do you have?

HP 38, H 335, 3031.

I got lucky today I did find some 357 mag live ammo but they are 142gr FMJFP, The tops are flat but the size of a primer. I hope they will work but not I will load them one at a time that way I will have some brass to work with

You should be fine up around 1000-1200 FPS with those MB bullets
