BB 357 first time out

Post by Wkeith59 » Sat Feb 27, 2021 7:34 am

Carried out my BB 357 for the first time and had a ball. I struggled at first trying to baby the lever, once I figured out to be forceful it was flawless. Had loaded some 38s with 158grn lead bullet and some 357 Fmj factory loads am very pleased with accuracy and performance, I had wanted one for years and finally pulled the trigger so to speak.

Congrats and sounds like a winner. The 357 out of a rifle is just pure fun.

Congratulations on a successful day out shooting. Almost more fun than girls I’ve always said when shooting a 357 lever rifle. Almost.

Excellent choice of caliber. Like others have said, lots of fun out of a rifle. Glad you're happy with it, I sure like mine.

Congrats on a fine choice. I have a BBS in 357 and it is a hand down favorite to shoot. I'm sure you find your biggest problem is keeping enough ammo around to feed it.

Ditto what everyone else has said, mine is pure fun to shoot. No factory loads but every thing from pop gun reloads to some thumper 180 hard cast are fun.

Ammo hasn’t been a problem, my son has been bitten by the shooting bug and is learning how to reload on my old Dillon 550b. Thankfully I had primers, powder, and bullets stored as well as a couple of ammo cans of loaded rounds. He works for bass pro shops in guns and hunting so he is on the lookout for primers and factory ammo and such😁
