Range Report: 10 meters measured

Post by Sir Henry » Fri Jan 15, 2021 4:02 pm

With the warmer weather I switched from inside work to outside work. This put me right smack in the middle of my range. A quick grab of the bare essentials and I was ready to shoot.

But first I measured the distance to the plane of the target and laid down a gear and stone. This was after all a work party. 8-) Five minutes of work and an hour of shooting.

That’s the way I like it!

I shot three 10-round groups and they were all about four inches. I would get a nice 3 and 4 round strings going and then oops.

I had a steak on the grill and lunch during same hour. Quite a nice day overall.

What a beautiful setting for shooting, Gene! Very classy. Have to say, I do like your shooting to work ratio, too.

Thanks Joanie, I try to camouflage the targets as art. I once had a neighbor ask me why I had three mailboxes in my back yard. Art!

It don't get much better than that. A place to shoot and grill a steak. What more can one ask for. I guess a cold beer after the shooting is done and the steak is on.

I’m thinking kitchen remodel next. Some of the appliances are 34 years old. So I’m thinking sometime this spring on the PCP.
