UPS dropped of my .357 carbine with side gate last night. I can’t wait to shoot it today. I expect it will shoot as good as it looks. I’ll let y’all know!

Yup, looks like a keeper.

That’s a tough one. I like both, but I have good one, she’s been with me for 26 years. (And she supports my gun habit).

I went to see my local gun pusher this morning and got on the waiting list for that exact model. I look forward to hearing from themauldens when you get a chance to shoot yours.

Dammit man wish I hadn't seen this, that's a really nice carbine. Out of curiosity anybody know if the hoop style lever can be replaced with a standard one ?

Good looking gun. Congratulations. Going to stop at LGS tomorrow to see if there is an update on mine.

I'm curious about that too. Not really a fan of the big loop.

Carbine shoots flawless! Shot 100 rounds of 6 different brands/types of ammo. 4 brands of .357 and 2 of .38. No failures while I was cycling the action. I let my 11 year old shoot about 10 rounds and he slow cycled it at first and it did not eject 2 rounds. I showed him the proper technique and worked perfect after that. I did make a minor adjustment on the sight for windage and elevation. All the shots were at 30 yards.

That’s some great shooting there. Great news on your rifle’s capabilities with those many different types of ammo you fed it. I bet your 11 year old had a grin from ear to ear.

Henry sells them and they can be changed. You can probably find someone to trade even with you. Some have the standard loop and want the large loop. I initially did not care for the large loop but it has grown on me and now I prefer it.
