Ruger 77/22 All Weather
This is the rifle my friend loaned me. He bought it used and it had a lot of work done to it. Some good some bad. The first owner painted it and the stock is most likely a replacement. My friend added the Nikon Buckmasters II 4-12x40 scope.
He reloaded for it and here is his aiming aid. I’m not sure what the numbers represents and he told me I could remove them.

Yes. On the barrel it has a small k in front of the 22.

You can shoot this one if you are in this neck of the woods.

I’m planning a trip to Wisconsin next summer. I want to meet as many people that I can.

depending on if you go across the north on I-94 or south on I-90 you may not be too far from where we spend our summers in Estelline, South Dakota

Those numbers look like the Nikon Spot On app for zeros at various distances and magnifications with that Buckmaster scope and a 270 Winchester load. Hey, leave it on. It looks impressive, even though out won't have any application for a 22 Hornet.

I can go either way. Last time I took 94 going east and 90 coming back.JEBar wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 7:53 pmdepending on if you go across the north on I-94 or south on I-90 you may not be too far from where we spend our summers in Estelline, South Dakota

I too took a pause looking at the data showing a 130 grain bullet. 22 Hornet 130 gr, now that’s a lotta bullet for a 22 caliber. Then I reread the post and understood the scope was added to the rifle recently.North Country Gal wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 8:17 pmThose numbers look like the Nikon Spot On app for zeros at various distances and magnifications with that Buckmaster scope and a 270 Winchester load. It’s all Greek to me. When I reloaded it was 7.62 NATO, 5.56 NATO and 9mm all loaded to milspec.Hatchdog wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 10:19 amI too took a pause looking at the data showing a 130 grain bullet. 22 Hornet 130 gr, now that’s a lotta bullet for a 22 caliber.
