Bacon and Eggs on the Griddle
The griddle is level and the grease is heading for the drain. Getting it and the refrigerator level took some time.
With the bacon nearly cooked I park it in a cooler corner and starts the pancakes and eggs.
Over easy please.
Not a good presentation but it sure tasted good.
The only thing I don’t like is the adjustment is only a quarter turn. On the Weber grill it is 3/4 of a turn.
Weber.

meals like that are where Blackstone's excel .... way to go on finding the cool spot(s) on the cooking surface .... it really can come in handy when grilling foods that cook at different paces

It has four separate burners which I didn’t think about at the time. Call me a rookie.

I’m going to fire up the barbie for chicken and corn. Everything is prepared and all I have to do is throw it on.markiver54 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 4:16 pmWish I had not looked at that when I`m hungry.

Re: Bacon and Eggs on the Griddle
one of the family businesses that I worked in from Jr HS through 4 year of college, there is no doubt you will learn to adjust your burners so as to offer you a wide range of cooking choices .... if you've ever been to a Kanki, Kobe, Sakura or other such Japanase Steakhouse, you've witnessed some of the finest cooks using large Blackstone style cooking surfaces in action .... I've learned much from watching them and do admit I enjoyed every moment of the watching and eating ...

Re: Bacon and Eggs on the Griddle
Even though it’s a chilly 50 degrees and raining I’m able to cook and eat outside. Today I used the small 22” griddle. It only has one zone compared to the four zones on the 36”er.

Re: Bacon and Eggs on the Griddle
It’s okay. Not as good as the 36. Nothing sticks to the big one. I moved the small one from the atrium to the back covered area. To much smoke was coming into the house.

I plinked off the edge of the shed at the “black mailboxes” with my Red Ryder. Does that count?

Re: Bacon and Eggs on the Griddle
Last night I used the Weber as an oven to bake a casserole the neighbor made for me.
I was able to control the heat and baked it for 25 minutes at 375.
This isn’t a very good picture but it was baked to perfection. I was even able to heat the beans in the Fiesta ware bowl.

We use are wood pellet grill all the time for meals like that. We have used it more than the oven in the house. It does a great job. Looks good Gene
